Majority of People
The majority of people, including yourself and many of your clients are on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, etc. But have you ever figured out that these social media channels have the potential to equal the benefits of word of mouth as an excellent source for a referral system or promotional prospects?
It’s well known that word-of-mouth in marketing has a significant impact on businesses. So encourage your existing clients to boast about you on Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and other social profiles. When your client recognises the value of your work, say to them something like, “Hey! Since we are doing well, I don’t suppose you could spread the good word about us on Facebook or Twitter or LinkedIn? Let’s not keep this good thing a secret. Okay?” Of course, some clients will go for it and some won’t, but I guarantee you’ll get a smile. In addition to word-of-mouth, reviews and recommendations made by loyal customers are genuine. So ask your clients to write some good words about your business on your Facebook’s fan page, LinkedIn or other social media profiles.
It’s also a good idea to follow some of your clients and prospects on Twitter, Facebook and other channels to observe what they are talking about. Determine what might be important to them and comments that may be helpful or just let them know you’re interested. This will add value and help you to establish stronger business relationships. If you have found these tips useful, please share them with your friends, family, colleagues, and associates.
